This crowd-sourced, community-written musical adaptation of the Pixar film about a tiny rat chef is made possible by the plethora of Broadway stans on TikTok. Proceeds from this one-time online premiere will benefit out-of-work performs through the Actors Fund.
Access to this event ends at 4 pm PST; tickets must be purchased by 2 pm

The Smithsonian National Museum of American History is bringing on curators and historians for a series of online panel discussions exploring the ongoing pandemic using historical archives. A lot of people are taking the opportunity to turn the online version of The Stranger's super-successful words 'n' vibes experience into a weekly online destination, a respite from (waves hands exasperatedly at basically everything) and an opportunity to simply... slow up, sit down, and just listen to live piano music while sinking into a good book. A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day! Past Event List
This week marks five years since the death of glam-rock king David Bowie, which calls for a big ol' online concert hosted by Studio City's Rolling Live Studios. This global stream will bring tribute performances by nearly 50 artists, including Zach Alford, Duran Duran, Yungblud, and Adam Lambert. VIP tickets even include a shoutout and/or digital hang sesh with pianist Mike Garson, who often accompanied Bowie onstage.

Currents, a collaborative project featuring film, dance, and the music of Shostakovich Past Event List
45th Parallel Universe will take a fresh approach to Shostakovich's Symphony No. 15 with a sextet arranged by Viktor Derevianko, captured by filmmaker Scott Ballard and featuring the talent of BodyVox Dance Studio.

Under the Radar Past Event List
The New York Public Theatre's annual festival, which has premiered works by the likes of Elevator Repair Service, Oklahoma's Nature Theater, Tania El Khoury, Belarus Free Theatre, Guillermo Calderón, Toshi Reagon, Taylor Mac, and Daniel Fish, will continue its tradition of bringing contemporary theater to the people with an online program that includes 600 Highwaymen's interactive performance A Thousand Ways: A Phone Call Past Event List , which will have a second virtual run at Boom Arts this month, as well as Whitney White and Peter Mark Kendall's Capsule, Teatro Anónimo's Espíritu, and Alicia Hall Moran's The Motown Project. The Portland Institute for Contemporary Art (PICA) and its Artistic Director and Curator of Performance, Erin Boberg Doughton, are global partners of this year's event.
