We've made it through the treacherous Big Dark, and it's time to leave our carefully assembled indoor nests to soak up some vitamin D. While you're out and about this weekend, why not some try some newly opened establishments, like Gach Viet Tea House and Taqueria La Bamba? Gach Viet Tea House List
This Vietnamese cafe, which hosted its grand opening last week, slings beverages like honey lemon tea, milk tea, and cà phê in addition to light bites like spring rolls, sticky rice, and air-fried tofu.

Taqueria La Bamba List
Bridgetown Bites reports that this new Mexican restaurant is now open in the former Three Fifty Cafe List location in Cully, serving specialties like empanadas, chilaquiles verdes, and chile relleno.

Nick's Italian Cafe List
We love a comeback: The James Beard Award-winning restaurant beloved for its handmade pasta will reopen under new ownership (the team behind the Carlton-based restaurant Earth & Sea) in early May or later this year.

Women Who Sparkle Past Event List
In a dual celebration of International Women's Day and Women in Wine Day, Cafe Olli will honor the shimmer of four leading female winemakers with a seasonal brunch accompanied by sparkling wines. Jeanne Feldkamp of Corollary Wines, Jessica West of Harper Voit & Approachment, Kate Payne Brown of Dolores & Vinovate and Shelby Perkins of Perkins-Harter will be present to pour their effervescent offerings.

Portland Tartare Tour Past Event List
Love it or hate it, tartare holds a special place in the culinary pantheon, beloved for its rich umami flavor. Westward Whiskey will spotlight the meaty, savory delicacy with bespoke tartare specials and whiskey-based cocktail pairings at five of Portland's favorite dining destinations, including Olympia Provisions, Fools & Horses, Scotch Lodge, Bellwether Bar, and Lechon. A portion of proceeds from the sale of each cocktail will support a charity of each restaurant’s choice.
