Italy isn't the only country whose filmmakers use food as a means of storytelling, but it's a pinnacle example. From post-war classics like Bicycle Thieves (who can forget that melty mozzarella sandwich Antonio buys for his son?) to modern gems like Big Night (the pasta-making scene! The egg scene at the end!), the evidence abounds. This class with film buff and gourmand Dr. Antonio Iannotta will delve into some iconic Italian movies that center food culture. You'll get free pizza from Tutta Bella if you're one of the first 100 people to register.
