Killer Burger Like List
The local chain, known for its over-the-top burgers like the "Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon" (bacon, peanut butter sauce, house sauce, mayo, grilled onion, and pickle) and the "Red Molly" (bacon, Philly steak, brined red peppers, provolone, mayo, house sauce, and grilled onion) has opened its 10th Oregon location in the former space of Russell Street BBQ Like List . For now, the outpost is focused on takeout and delivery, but walk-ins will be allowed as well starting January 25.

Shimai-Toshi Brewing Like List
This new brewery specializes in fruit beers featuring yuzu—the project was inspired in part by co-founder Ian Marshall's citrus and olive farm in Boring, Oregon. The name means "sister city" in Japanese, a reference to Portland's sister city Sapporo and the two cities' shared reputation as hubs for beer production. Their products are already available at shops like Johns Marketplace and The Beermongers, as well as restaurants like Kayo’s Ramen Bar, Baka Umai, and Ping, and are also available for delivery via Road Beers. The founders plan to distribute their releases to more Japanese restaurants and bars around town.

Micah Camden's nostalgic burger chain used the now-ubiquitous Bernie meme to announce on Instagram that its Pearl District location, which has been closed for months, reopens for business today.

Toki Like List
The team behind Han Oak Like List , the widely acclaimed Korean restaurant that Andrea Damewood once praised for its "perfectly succulent Korean fried chicken wings" dusted in "essence of ramen" powder in the Portland Mercury's 2017 Newcomers' Guide (and which recently appeared Like List on the show Eater's Guide to the World on Hulu), soft-opened the highly anticipated new restaurant Toki in the former space of Tasty n Alder Like List on January 15. The menu is a mix of Han Oak's greatest hits—like that famous Korean fried chicken—and some new dishes, like "gimbap supreme" (seaweed and rice wrapped in foil, burger-style).

Migration Brewing Like List
In March, this brewery will open its fourth location in the former space of Hopworks Bikebar Like List . The new outpost will feature a taproom, outdoor seating, a menu of American pub grub, and 18 beers on tap.

Stickmen Brewing Like List
This brewery, which emphasizes hops and has locations in Lake Oswego and Tualatin, plans to open a third location in the Cedar Mill area's Kirkland Place Plaza this fall. The new taproom will showcase 24 beers on tap, a full Italian-style coffee bar with pastries and frittatas in the mornings, and a food menu with wood-fired pizzas and salads.

Burrasca
The beloved Tuscan restaurant announced this week that it has closed permanently after seven years of business. The announcement read, "Certainly the past year has been challenging, but your love and support since the onset of the pandemic has kept us afloat and helped provide jobs and income for our staff. With our lease at an end, we felt it was time for a change: time for renewed focus on well-being and family, and time to consider new and inspiring projects. A fresh start is a good thing, and we embrace it!" It also hinted at a "next chapter," stating that chef Paolo Calamai ("ever the irrepressible Tuscan") plans to keep cooking and that fans should stay tuned for future projects.

Central Kitchen Online Food Hall expands
According to a press release, the virtual food hall Central Kitchen Like List , owned by the Concept Entertainment Group, has expanded. (Portland Mercury contributor Suzette Smith reviewed the food hall in October, calling it "a strong showing—with added variety, and a dollop of presentation.") The ghost kitchen will now offer three of its most popular concepts (Killer Wings, Southern Jewel, and Soy Joy) for takeout and delivery at locations of the restaurant Thirsty Lion Like List (which is also owned by CEG), in addition to a new concept called Pizza and Spice. CEG has also since opened virtual food halls in Arizona, Colorado, and Texas. 

Chef Alexia Grant launching pop-up in February
Want to know what it's like to dine like a basketball star? Chef Alexia Grant, who has spent the last five years working as Portland Trail Blazer Carmelo Anthony's personal chef and recently gained quite a few fans within the NBA bubble, plans to launch a pop-up at the Pearl District's River Pig Saloon Like List in February showcasing her signature Caribbean cuisine, inspired by her Jamaican grandmother's cooking.

Virtual Cocktail Class for a Cause Supporting My Voice Music Past Event Like List
Add two sunny, citrus-forward cocktails (the "Honey Love" and the "Morning at Midnight") to your repertoire with this class hosted by Dregs Vodka and led by Kex bar director Lydia McLuen. An optional kit with all the cocktail ingredients is available for delivery. A beer fit for deities: This brewery has launched Stout of the Gods, the first of a new annual experimental stout series. The stout is fermented in Maryhill Winery Syrah barrels with sour cherries and features a "big fruity nose with notes of cherry, blackberry, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, slight acidity and a touch of brettanomyces."
