This traveling exhibit showcases Mexican postwar identity from the early 20th century through the eyes of artists such as Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. While Frida Kahlo's surrealist art is an exploration of her personal Mexican identity through painting and fashion, Diego Rivera's political murals chartered conversations of national identity. On view are several works by both artists, as well as a collection of artworks featuring Frida Kahlo, and other Mexican modernist artists.
