The New York Public Theatre's annual festival, which has premiered works by the likes of Elevator Repair Service, Oklahoma's Nature Theater, Tania El Khoury, Belarus Free Theatre, Guillermo Calderón, Toshi Reagon, Taylor Mac, and Daniel Fish, will continue its tradition of bringing contemporary theater to the people with an online program that includes 600 Highwaymen's interactive performance A Thousand Ways: A Phone Call, which will have a second virtual run at Boom Arts this month, as well as Whitney White and Peter Mark Kendall's Capsule, Teatro Anónimo's Espíritu, and Alicia Hall Moran's The Motown Project. The Portland Institute for Contemporary Art (PICA) and its Artistic Director and Curator of Performance, Erin Boberg Doughton, are global partners of this year's event.
