In three sessions, prolific Bollywood film singer and choir conductor Kavita Baliga (who collaborated on the music for Slumdog Millionaire) will explore Indian cinema from the 20th century to the present, touching on gender roles, Westernized interpretations of the genre, and how music and dance fits into it all.
