Migration Brewing Rooftop at Canvas Like List
Looking for some beer with a scenic view? The brewery recently reopened Like List its downtown "Rooftop at Canvas" taproom, which opened as a temporary pop-up in 2020 and is now a permanent location. The taproom doesn't have a full kitchen but does serve light snacks such as cheese boards, jerky, and chips. The rooftop is open from 1-10 pm, Wednesday-Sunday, with hours subject to change depending on the weather.

Revolution Hall Like List

The Society Hotel Like List
The hip boutique hotel in the former Mariner's Building reopened on May 1 with a redesigned rooftop deck, as well as a new lobby and mural artwork collaborations. Grab a drink from the cafe and lounge's rotating selection of coffee, wine, and beer and savor it while taking in the new digs.

Tope Like List
The Hoxton recently reopened its stylish rooftop taqueria, which features an outdoor terrace with sweeping vistas of the city. Chef Joel Lui-Kwan, who previously spent time at Jacqueline Like List and Nobu Waikiki, has taken over as the new chef de cuisine, devising a menu that includes dishes like Oregon Bay shrimp ceviche, Modelo-battered rockfish tacos, and the "Hoxwrap" (a take on the Crunchwrap Supreme). Add on a carafe of margaritas, and you'll have all the makings of a dreamy evening.

Dimo's Apizza Like List
Chef Doug Miriello's pop-up, which slings New Haven-style "apizza" pies (characterized by a long, cold fermentation period and a bake in a coal-fired oven), has plenty of space for outdoor seating on East Burnside. Besides apizza, the menu also features salads, vegetable dishes, East Coast-style grinders, beer, and wine.

Eem Like List
The Portland Mercury's Andrea Damewood called the Thai barbecue spot with tropical cocktails "the restaurant equivalent of Lizzo: infectious, critically and commercially acclaimed, and addictive AF," writing, "You cannot go wrong in ordering, from the hot fried cauliflower to the divine brisket in white curry to the fried rice with burnt ends. And both the cocktails and mocktails are some of the best in town—my favorite piña colada, made with coffee and salt to keep it from being too cloying, is on the menu again." This past winter, the restaurant added a vibrant "vacation cabana"-inspired area for outdoor dining.

Portland Mercury contributor Suzette Smith writes, "I've biked past Güero's streetside deck, off NE 28th, at golden hour and appraised its glory—filled to capacity with jubilant pods of people chowing down on tortas and raising mezcal margaritas. Something about Güero's design and approach feels cool, like they meant to build a big patio NE Davis, no biggie. It's such a nice place you might forget we're under restrictions at all."

Kachka Like List
Great news: The much-adored Russian restaurant has reopened Like List  for outdoor dining, and it's added a fun new happy hour to boot. In a nod to several Kachka staffers' Mexican roots, the so-called "Tekc Mekc" menu (a play on "Tex-Mex" with Cyrillic characters) incorporates Latin influences, resulting in dishes like queso fundido khachapuri (!), Georgian cornbread gorditas, and lavash nachos. Other Kachka classics like vareniki, pelmeni, and Moscow mules also make an appearance.

Noble Rot Like List
Gaze out over downtown Portland from the balcony patio while sipping wine and snacking on small plates. The wine bar offers a curated selection of Pacific Northwest wines in addition to their famous “Sex With a View” cocktail, which is served for two in a pineapple (based on availability).

The casual craft beer taphouse has picnic tables under a large tent in addition to private pods in shipping containers, which were actually planned before the pandemic. Portland Mercury contributor and EverOut associate editor Janey Wong called the "Tantalus Royale" cocktail an "effervescent delight," writing, "With the addition of Combier Pamplemousse, lemon, and orange bitters, the cocktail is light, bright, and made for sipping in the sunshine."
