There's plenty of low-budget fun to be had this weekend, from the season opener of beloved Old Town institution Portland Saturday Market to the brand new trans and non-binary dance party TransVergence. Plus, the verdict is in on Robert Pattinson's take on the caped crusader: The Batman is garnering some great reviews, but you can go be the judge of that during its opening weekend.

Nelken partnered with award-winning Ugandan writer Beatrice Lamwaka to gather these compelling stories in local dialects, forgoing unneeded adaptation for Western audiences.
