A Bunk NYE Party: 1969, Geezer, Craftwork Past Event List
Bunk Bar hosts a New Year's Eve party with a bit of a Halloween-bent, inviting you to dress up and come down and enjoy tribute sets from a trio of Portland's finest cover bands: 1969 (Iggy and the Stooges performed by members of Mร scaras, Wet Fruit, Mini Blinds, and WL), Craftwork (Kraftwerk performed by members of BlackWater HolyLight, Bryson Cone, and DAN DAN), and Geezer (Weezer's Blue Album performed by members of Summer Cannibals, and Moon Shy). Separation of Sanity, Kingdom Under Fire, Pirahnapuss, DJ Dross Past Event List
Portland's own Separation of Sanity lead the charge as an array of local metal and thrash outfits link up with fire dancers, DJs, and more to ring in 2020 with some good old fashioned headbanging. (8 pm, Dante's, $12-15)

New Year's Eve at Hey Love! Past Event List
Hey Love gets in on the NYE action with a dance party headed up by two of the city's finest DJs: Bobby D (Albina Music Trust, XRAYfm) and Cooky Parker (Ural Thomas & The Pain, In The Cooky Jar, KMHD). Let's Party: New Year's Eve at the EastSide Past Event List

O-Shogatsu: Japanese New Year Past Event List
In honor of the New Year and O-Shogatsu (or "standard month"), the Portland Japanese Garden celebrates the arrival of 2020 with a full afternoon of activities, including a New-Yearโ€™s style tea ceremony, a Koto harp concert, and more. Elsewhere in the Garden, an ink-wash brush drawing session and Hyakunin Issyu (poetry game) will be held in the Yanai Classroom.
