The Annual Beaujolais Nouveau Festival Past Event List
The annual Beaujolais Nouveau festival returns to the Heathman, where notable winemakers bring their best versions of Nouveau to the restaurant, and it gets paired with culinary miracles via some of the city's best chefs, and live music by Heather Keizur. Roots: An Evening Celebrating Portland and the James Beard Foundation Past Event List
It's like a hall-of-fame ceremony that you get to eat! 14 of the city's top chefs, over half of which have either won or been nominated for James Beard awards, team up to create a 10-course meal and cocktail reception, featuring Oregon-focused dishes created specifically for the event. La Fete du Macaron Past Event List
A celebration of the French Macaron, filling the Pix pastry case with a wide variety of flavors. Also includes a contest to get your flavor carried at Pix past the celebration, and something called the "cupcake stomp," which seems like an abomination (why the hell would you want to destroy a perfectly good cupcake) but is supposedly "messy but fun."
