The live music calendar continues to fill out, and this week, a couple of the buzziest rappers in the game announced fall dates in Portland—don’t miss JPEGMAFIA’s politically charged verses or the mumble rap stylings of young fashionista Playboi Carti. KGW reports that attendees of this weekend's Oregon Symphony Waterfront Concert and Festival will be required to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours.

Heading south to cheer on your college football team? The Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers both announced that they will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for all attendees over the age of 12. Oregon’s season kicks off this Saturday against Fresno State and Oregon State will play its opening game versus Hawaii on September 11.

Oregon Children’s Theatre has announced their 2021-2022 season, themed Emergence. Tickets are on sale now for their slate of performances, including The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show (Feb 26-Apr 24, 2022), Last Stop on Market Street (May 1-29, 2022), Twelfth Night (Apr 29-May 15, 2022), and more.
