Latin-trap sensation Ozuna will get the whole city dancing during his Ozutochi tour, which is based around his upcoming album of the same name. If you’re looking for something more mellow, “bayou soul" songsmith Marc Broussard will also stop by this fall. Or, if good ol’ fashioned country-rock is what you’re craving, legendary singer-songwriter Steve Earle has got you covered. Plus, “funny Asian dudeJimmy O. Yang will pause his movie career for new dates on his Tiger Son comedy tour. Read on for details on those and other newly announced events, plus some news you can use.

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS

Portland Parks & Recreation has announced this year’s Summer Free for All Add to a List programming, which will include a free lunch and play initiative to serve no-cost, healthy lunches to 100,000 children in Portland-area parks, plus two arts festivals, film screenings, swim sessions, cultural performances, and more from June to September.

In collaboration with Oregon State Parks and Oregon Film, the Hollywood Theatre will once again present its Outdoor Movies in Oregon State Parks Add to a List series. Screenings include Jurassic Park at Rooster Rock State Park (Sat June 25), Mars Attacks at Stub Stewart State Park (Sat July 9), Back to the Future Part II at Milo McIver State Park (Sat July 23), and Encanto at Champoeg State Heritage Area (Sat Aug 6). All parks are within an hour’s drive of Portland and no tickets are required.

Portland Playhouse has announced its 15th anniversary season Add to a List , kicking off with country-fried family story Chicken & Biscuits Add to a List and followed by A Christmas Carol Add to a List . The season will wrap with The Sounds of Afrolitical Movement Add to a List , an Afrofuturist-inspired multimedia performance.
