The Mountain Goats' 21st (!) album, Bleed Out, was released in August.
Indie-folk heavyweights The Mountain Goats will trek over to Portland this winter for two consecutive shows. R&B-pop sensation Jessie Reyez will stop by on tour supporting her forthcoming album, Yissie. Musical funnyman (of Flight of the Conchords) Bret McKenzie has penned in a local date on his solo tour. Plus, FAN EXPO Portland (FKA Wizard World) has released early bird tickets. Read on for details on those and other newly announced events, plus some news you can use.

On September 17, Tri-Met will celebrate the completion of the Division Transit Project, which created more frequent bus stops, multiple-door boarding options, expanded bus stations, and more. The FX Grand Opening Celebration Add to a List will stop along three festival locations—OMSI’s bridge lot (at My People's Market Add to a List ), Portland Community College’s southeast campus, and Gresham Central Transit Center—with marketplaces, live musical performances, and other activities at each.

Live Wire Radio has announced their Fall 2022 season Add to a List , which includes funny, insightful stage conversations with dynamic voices like Sara Schaefer, Hari Kondabolu, Chris Mejia, Nabil Ayers, and Sona Movsesian, hosted by Luke Burbank.

Ruth Ozeki’s A Tale for the Time Being has been selected as the official title for Multnomah County Library’s 2023 Everybody Reads program. The community book program will conclude with a talk with Ruth Ozeki Add to a List next March.
