Living Room Theaters Like List announced that they are dropping mask requirements for patrons and relaxing social distancing as of Friday, July 9. The full food and drink menu is poised to return soon, but meanwhile you can still grab soft drinks, popcorn, and candy to munch your way through the latest flicks.
The Northwest location of Voicebox Like List is reopening Friday, July 16. The karaoke joint is taking reservations for its private suites so you can belt your lungs out with a handful of your closest friends.
All of Multnomah County Library’s 19 branches are set to reopen by the end of August. The Central Library will reopen with new hours. Patrons will be able to browse, pick up holds without an appointment, use computers and WiFi, scan/fax/print documents, and access help from library staff. There will be no time limit for visitors, and masks are recommended. Services such as in-person programs, storytimes, and public meeting room use will resume at a later date.
The Portland Winterhawks have rebranded their logo, shedding Indigenous appropriative imagery that was adopted from the Chicago Blackhawks and somehow stuck around for 45 years. The 2021-2022 season starts Friday, October 1.
