Dolly Olive Like List
The Sesame Collective restaurant group (the team who brought you Mediterranean Exploration Company Like List . Shalom Y'all Like List , Lil' Shalom Like List , Yalla Like List , and Bless Your Heart Burger) opened this cozy southern Mediterranean restaurant in the former Bistro Agnes space on Wednesday. The menu includes freshly baked focaccia, handmade pasta dishes, Sicilian eggplant parmigiana, bavette steak, Spanish octopus, lamb meatballs, polenta with fried mushrooms, and more, with beverages such as local beer, wine from Italy and Oregon, cocktails, house-made sodas, and zero-proof libations.

This Olympia cart specializing in sweet and savory Belgian waffles and coffee recently opened a cart in Portland. Choose from variations like the "Classic" (buttermilk fried chicken on a waffle with maple syrup), the "Madeleine" (warm cookie butter, toasted pecans, caramel, and whipped cream), and the "Avalon Clair" (lemon curd, lavender cream cheese sauce, poppyseeds, and whipped cream).

Pacific Standard Like List  
Star bartenders Jeffrey Morgenthaler and Benjamin Amberg, best known for their tenures at the influential Clyde Common Like List , opened this highly anticipated new hotel bar inside KEX Portland Like List on Wednesday. The roster of classic cocktails is inspired by "the world's great hotel bars," while others, like the Lobby Irish Coffee and Draft Michelada, pay tribute to Morgenthaler's California upbringing. There's also a selection of beer and wine from the small, local producers Morgenthaler and Amberg have developed relationships with over the course of their career, primarily served on draft. The food menu features bar snacks like deviled eggs, Walla Walla onion dip with Ruffles chips, and Morgenthaler's famed chocolate chip cookie.

Sissy Bar Like List
Derek Palmer of Raven & Rose Like List  and Truman Cox of The Benson Like List opened this LGBTQ+ "video bar" in mid-June, just in time for this month's Pride festivities. The bar serves classic cocktails alongside a Latin American food menu and features TVs playing video vignettes from famous films around the space.

Doc Marie's Like List
This upcoming lesbian bar named for early medical doctor, activist, and lesbian Marie Equi plans to open in the former Elvis Room Like List  space on 203 SE Grand Avenue on July 1. The opening weekend festivities will include a DJ and dance party, karaoke, and a debut Queens, Queers and Quiche Remind Like List drag brunch, which will feature a mimosa special created in collaboration with Chambord and will raise funds for the Black Resilience Fund. It will be Portland's only dedicated lesbian bar once it opens.

Great Notion Brewing Like List
The wildly popular brewery known for its hazy IPAs is set to open a new beer garden inside the former Ether Shoes building on Division Street in Southeast Portland later this month. A taproom in the same location will follow later this year.

Brasa Haya Like List
Chef Ian Muntzert's live-fire Spanish restaurant, which opened in the historic American Foursquare house formerly home to Beech Street Parlor Like List in June 2021, has called it quits permanently. The business broke the news on Instagram last week, writing, "We have reached a point where we can no longer be certain of our ability to pay our staff and vendors...We're incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished here. And incredibly sad that we can't continue. This just wasn't the restaurant that Portland wanted."

Food Truck Fridays Past Event Like List
Venture out to 82-acre Abbey Road Farm, located in the heart of the Willamette Valley, for a different food truck each Friday from June through August. While you're there, say hi to the farm animals and stop by the tasting room to try some wines.

Queer Wine Fest Past Event Like List
This event will showcase over 30 wines from 15 wineries from Oregon, California, and Washington, all of them queer-made, queer-grown, or from queer-owned wineries. The night will also include food pairings and live music from Camp Crush. Proceeds will benefit Wine Country Pride, which celebrates the LGBTQ+ community of Willamette Valley.

Summer Luau Block Party Festival
Past Event Like List The local nonprofit Feed the Mass will team up with Hammer & Stitch Brewing Co. and other local vendors to host this summer block party, with food and drinks, live music, hula dancing lessons, hula hooping, magic tricks, storytime, a raffle, a silent auction, and other activities. Hammer & Stitch will serve an exclusive specialty beer, with all funds going towards Feed the Mass's mission of fighting food insecurity in Portland.

5th Annual Clackamas on Tap & Uncorked Past Event Like List
People in Portland definitely love to make their little jokes about that big ol' county to the Southeast of the city, containing more than its fair share of boonies. But you know what, Clackamas uses those boonies quite well, to craft some of the state's most delicious spirits, and among the roses in the Sara Hite Memorial Garden, you can discover for yourself just how many great beers, wines, ciders, and spirits there are in Clackamas. This year's festivities include a performance by the Rae Gordon Band, lawn games, and summer barbecue fare like pulled pork sliders and fruit cobbler. Proceeds benefit Meals On Wheels and the Social Services Programs at the Milwaukie Community Center.

29th Annual Hillsdale Brewfest Past Event Like List
Usually, this beer festival is held under heated tents in the winter, but this year, McMenamins is breaking with tradition and hosting it in their parking lot as an outdoor summer celebration, with 20 brews on tap and official tasting glasses.
