NEW OPENINGS AND RETURNS

Holler List
Holler, the Sellwood fried chicken operation from Bullard List co-owners Doug Adams and Jen Quist, opened its dining room on April 15, according to a press release. The restaurant was initially meant to launch in June but was postponed due to the pandemic and ended up opening as a takeout-only enterprise last July. The new space boasts over 5,000 square feet and was made with families and groups in mind and will show sports games on its TVs. Besides fried chicken, there's also plenty of bar snacks, such as crispy pork "cigars" and pimento cheese with crackers, plus entrees like grilled pork chops and trout. The spot also features 16 taps and a drinks menu that ranges from "Textbook Plays" (classic cocktails) like the Old Pal to "Technical Fouls" (newer inventions) like a verde vodka soda and a Lambrusco cobbler, as well as non-alcoholic drinks.

Migration Brewing Rooftop at Canvas List
Looking for some beer with a scenic view? The brewery has reopened its downtown "Rooftop at the Canvas" taproom, which opened as a temporary pop-up-style location in 2020 and which will now become a permanent location. The taproom serves light snacks such as cheese boards, jerky, and chips, but does not have a full kitchen.

FUTURE OPENINGS

Mitate List

Sugarpine Roadhouse List
Emily Cafazzo and Ryan Domingo, co-owners of the retro Sugarpine Drive-In List , have purchased the historic space formerly home to the beloved Shirley's Tippy Canoe, which was damaged by fire over a year ago. In homage to the restaurant's past life as a 1930s roadhouse, they plan to restore it and reopen it as an old-fashioned roadside pit-stop in summer 2022. Can't wait until then? On Tuesday, Sugarpine Drive-In also launched a new spinoff pop-up food truck called Da Pine List , which will serve up a rotation of different cuisines at nearby Glenn Otto Park. The first concept is Da Pine Grinds, with Hawaiian-style poke bowls, plate lunches, mac salad, and slushies from Ryan's brother Darrin Domingo, inspired by his Hawaiian heritage.
