Abyssinian Kitchen List
This Ethiopian-Eritrean staple, which closed temporarily in August 2020 due to the pandemic, reopens in the former Stella Taco List space today. The new location features an expanded kitchen, a cocktail bar, and a dining room with African-inspired wallpaper.

Humble Spirit List
Former Jackrabbit List chef Brett Uniss opened this new farm-to-table restaurant in downtown McMinnville last month in partnership with the Yamhill County hospitality group The Ground, which also operates Tabula Rasa Farms in Carlton. Uniss told Eater Portland, "My ambition, not to be too Portlandia about it, is to have our burger beef to be from a single animal where it’s identifiable, real food. You know, tag number 118, it was a red Devon. Brenda and farmer Brett raised this cow, it was harvested in Carlton, and now it’s here."

Little Griddle List
The cozy Beaumont brunch favorite Little Griddle expanded with a second location in the former Cup & Saucer List space at the end of July, where it's now slinging fried chicken in addition to classic breakfast fare.

Paradise Mariscos List
Chef Adán Fausto recently launched this summery Mexican seafood pop-up in the parking lot behind Güero List , where it will reside through October. The pop-up is closed this weekend, but you can look forward to fresh dishes like tuna tostadas and black cod flautas once it reopens.

On Wednesday, the Clackamas cider business Portland Cider Co. opened a taproom in Beaverton, marking the company's third location. Guests can choose from 27 different ciders and guest beers on tap, plus a range of packaged drinks.

Salt & Straw introduces ice cream for dogs
Your canine companion need not be left out next time you make an ice cream run: In honor of National Dog Day on August 26, Salt & Straw has introduced a new "pup cup" (a "human-grade" coconut ice cream with apple and carrot bits and sweet potato ribbons), according to a press release. To celebrate the new release, Salt & Straw locations will host "Yappy Hours" from 2-4 pm from August 22-26, where pet owners can get a complimentary pup cup with purchase of ice cream.

2022 Vancouver Summer BrewFest Past Event List
