McMenamins' Zeus Cafe changes name
In tribute to longtime manager Hal Finkelstein, who passed away in January 2022, McMenamins' downtown Zeus Cafe has changed its name to Hal's Café

and put up new signs on Wednesday. Finkelstein helped open the cafe in 2011 and was responsible for shaping its guest experience. The business's menu has also been updated to honor Finkelstein and will include his favorite brunch dish, smoked steelhead Benedict.

Five local breweries will step up to the plate to demonstrate that they can sling slider-sized burgers with the best of them. Each competitor will present their own burger and beer pairing for a team of guest judges, who will crown the winning Brewers Burger. As a guest, you'll get to play taste-tester and try as many of the entries as you like à la carte (with burgers priced at $6 each and pairings for $8), or shell out for the VIP access tickets for $35 to get to try all five. May the juiciest patty win!
