The following description comes from the event organizer.

Creations for Cures is a team of volunteers that stand at the intersection of art, science, and compassion so there is less suffering from cancer and its effects. Our mission is to bring the healing power of art to children battling cancer and other serious illnesses. Please join us in our mission by signing up for our 5K and asking your friends and family to join you. We encourage you to run, walk, or roll, in this 5K in honor of someone, to get some exercise, and to support our cause.

We are kicking off this event on June 5th which is National Cancer Survivors Day and the event closes on June 12th which is National Children's Day. We couldn't think of a better way to spend this week than supporting our cancer survivors and children.

Tickets can be purchased by making a donation in any amount.  Every dollar helps us achieve our mission.  Participants can use their preferred tracker of choice to track their times. Once you have completed your 5K, upload a photo of your results by using #cfc5K2022 to either Facebook or Instagram. Remember to tag Creations for Cures! If you don't use Facebook or Instagram, you can email your photo to info@creationsforcures.org. Remember to post/email your results no later than 11:30pmEST on June 12th! Participant time results will be posted to our website following the close of the event.
