Portlanders looking to slap a "26.2" or "13.1" sticker on the back of their vehicles will rise and shine on the first day of October to run or walk the Portland Marathon. The full and half marathons will take participants on a scenic course that hugs the Willamette River. The forecast looks nice and clear for the endeavor, so fingers crossed it doesn't rain unexpectedly!

Both the marathon and the half marathon start and finish at the same location. The pre-race staging area is located in Portland's Waterfront Park at 1000 SW Naito Pkwy.
