Don't miss this screening of A*P*E, a flick that conspicuously cashed in on King Kong's fame by releasing only two months after the much more famous film. The schlocky eyeroll of a movie also manages to be a lot of fun, with random kung fu, atrocious acting, and a big ol' ape on a rampage in South Korea. This 35mm print of the film is appropriately low quality, but that'll just heighten the laughable viewing experience.
