Presented in tandem with the current exhibition Weaving Data, this free workshop led by new media and textile artist Ahree Lee invites participants to explore women's vital role in coding development and the surprising connections between weaving and computing. (Spoiler: one of the first computers was inspired by the Jacquard loom!) Lee will lead a hands-on weaving activity to examine the relationships between warp, weft, and code.
