The following description comes from the event organizer.

Artists in Conversation is a collective virtual space to listen, inquire, and learn, founded by Renegade Opera to amplify young professional artists in opera, theater, and costume design as they discuss the future of musicmaking. Mixed Race Stories in Classical Music with Danielle Jagelski, conductor and music director, centers the lived experiences of mixed race musicians in the context of classical performance. Together, the Artists in Conversation: Deconstruct speakers challenge the traditional hierarchies in casting, costuming, and the music education system that create barriers to entry for professional musicians.
