Artists Maria Lux and Kyle Peets inject some weird-out humor into their dual exhibition, As Above, So Below. The pair imagine alien flying squirrels and anthropomorphized rocks in gestures that feel playful and a little miraculous. On a planet that feels more uncertain and flat-out scary every day, Lux and Peets disrupt the status quo to question dominant visual hierarchies within the material world. What else could there be?
