The following description comes from the event organizer.

In 2020, Oregon was the first state in the nation to approve a regulatory framework for legally providing psilocybin services to the general public. Over two years later, we are at the cusp of the implementation of the rules around how a person can consume psilocybin within a state-level regulatory framework. Dr. Atheir Abbas, member of the Oregon Psilocybin Advisory Board and assistant professor in the OHSU Departments of Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychiatry, will provide a review of what is psilocybin and how it can be used, how we got to where we are in Oregon policy, and what to expect in the next year.
