Throughout February, All Classical Portland will celebrate Black History Month by highlighting composers and performers of African heritage, including Joseph Bologne (1745-1799), Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (1875-1912), and R. Nathaniel Dett (1882-1943). To kick off the series, program director John Pitman will give an overview.
