Organized by local artist liz yerby, this new donation-based reading series spotlights "comics that are explicitly queer and trans, nonfiction, personal, immersive, surreal, and accompanied by original music." Cool! The first-ever meeting of Comics Club will be held in Books With Pictures' outdoor garden space, with work presented by SYNCING cartoonist Quinn Amacher, risograph-inspired artist Ren Strapp, illustrator Ross Jackson, and author Tristan J. Tarwater, who created the #LatinxsCreate hashtag.
