On Saturday, January 28, the High Desert Museum will open the new, original exhibition Creations of Spirit. The exhibition is largely in the voices of the seven Native artists commissioned to create works for the exhibition, and they share their stories of their pieces-ranging from a hand-carved High Desert Plateau flute to a tule reed canoe and paddles-as part of a deep connection to traditions as well as part of the vitality of contemporary Indigenous communities.You Might Also Like
