Performance Works NorthWest, Portland Jazz Composers Ensemble, and Buckmxn Journal have joined heads to select stellar creatives for a series of three collaborative performances. Dancers Sophia Tweed Ahmad, Danielle Ross, and Akela Jaffi, musicians Michael Gamble, Machado Mijiga, and Cyrus Nabipoor, and poets Rich Perin, Emmi Greer, and Carolyn Supinka will create hand-in-hand despite not knowing each other. The results are bound to be surprising, defying genre in an experimental reflection on the power of Portland's creative scene.
