Crouching Comic will premiere in Portland as part of the brand-new CINE / SEEN Film Festival’s programming. Written by Alberta Poon and Katie Nguyen with an all-Asian cast and crew, the film stars Nguyen (an IRL comedian and Portland Mercury Genius of Comedy) as a young comic grappling with mental health, performance anxiety, family troubles, and the first-generation understanding of identity.
