Portland Chinatown Museum board member Sarah Chung will guide folks through the 12 animal signs of the Chinese zodiac (we suspect there will be a special emphasis on this year's sign—the tiger) and various Lunar New Year traditions during this informational talk.

Sarah Chung is a retired Kaiser clinical pharmacist, with roots in Alberta, Canada, Astoria, Oregon, and Portland, Oregon. She plays an active role in her community and has served as the President of the Irvington Club Board of Directors and the Alameda Tuesday Club, is Chairperson of the Portland Chinese Scholarship Foundation, serves on the boards of the Chinese Scientists, Engineers, and Professionals Association and the Oregon Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association. She is a founding member of the Portland Chinatown History Foundation and is a current board of director and officer.
