Just in time for Halloween, Hollywood's Thank God It's Queer series spotlights a queer vampire classic with Daughters of Darkness. Harry Kümel's '71 nightmare is a moody, psychosexual slow burn featuring a reimagined Elizabeth Báthory in a Belgian hotel. Sign us up! The film may fit neatly into the lesbian vampire trope of 20th-century media, but it's a solid entry that set the scene for seductively spooky flicks like The Hunger.
