Written by Dañel Malán and directed here by Lawrence Siulagi, this bilingual production traces the early career of the Spanish poet, musician, and playwright Federico García Lorca, whose travels through New York and Cuba became a quest for cultural integration and gender acceptance. The story begins on the opening night of the successful play Mariana Pineda, followed by the printing of Gypsy Ballads and Poet in New York
