The following description comes from the event organizer.

Our program will feature Symphony No. 1 for Brass by the famous American composer, Brian Balmages - a tour de force showcasing the enormous range of a brass ensemble.  Also on the program is Chris Hazell's Three Brass Cats - this composition expresses the musical personalities of his feline companions: affectionate Mr. Jums, sultry Black Sam, and excitable Borage. You will enjoy John Cheetham's bombastic and exciting Commemorative Fanfare, as well as an arrangement of the traditional Wayfaring Stranger in the style of English jazz vocalists, the Swingle Singers.  No brass concert would be complete without a piece from the father of the brass ensemble, Gabrieli; we have chosen Canzon a 12, presented in surround sound!  Finally, Steven Sondheim's all-time favorite Send in the Clowns rounds out our program.
