Foo Fighters
The following description comes from the event organizer.
Blending hard rock guitars, incorporating punk sensibilities, and melodic rhythms, Foo Fighters rose to become one of the biggest acts to materialize out of the alternative rock explosion of the 1990s. Lead singer Dave Grohl also known as the former drummer for Nirvana, originally created Foo Fighters as a solo project in 1994. The first studio album, “Foo Fighters” was written and recorded by Dave Grohl in 1995. As Foo Fighter’s lineup grew, so did their success, hitting the top of the charts and filling stadiums around the world. Well-known hits include “My Hero” and “Everlong”, “The Pretender” and “Learn to Fly” and “Best of You”.
With a career spanning nearly 3 decades, they’ve toured the world extensively, notably throughout 2017 and 2018 including an appearance at the Glastonbury Festival. With 10 studio albums, the most recent released in 2021, titled “Medicine at Midnight” with lead single “Shame, Shame” which topped the charts.
