Oakland-based artist and curator Astria Suparak will stop by PNCA as part of the Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies lecture series. The award-winning creative's cross-disciplinary practice is worth a close look—Suparak investigates racism, colonialism, and feminism through pop culture perspectives, vacillating between art and scholarly activism by creating public databases, murals, and more.
