This six week program is a unique opportunity to explore the dance, music and culture of Argentine tango in an intimate and inclusive setting! Each 60 min class will focus on the basics of tango - the embrace, walk & core steps, plus an overview of the music, history and the traditions of this unique dance.

These introductory classes are designed to get you out and dancing in the vibrant Seattle tango scene & will culminate with a field trip to a local tango event. This session is ideal for absolute beginners, dancers whose studies were interrupted by the pandemic or for more experienced tanguer@s seeking to pick up a new role. You'll also develop the skills to join Jenni's popular weekly Tango Fundamentals classes, where you can continue your Tango studies with the awesome Lowdown community!

Pre-registration is required! Pricing is $150/individual student or $275 for a lead/follow couple. Classes are capped at just 10 students to ensure individual attention and will be role balanced - sign up early to reserve your place!
