On her latest album, It Was a Home, singer-songwriter KAINA takes inspiration from her Venezuelan and Guatemalan roots along with her Chicago upbringing for intimate R&B tunes about "love, legacy, and ancestry," which have earned her acclaim from lauded publications like Pitchfork and NPR. She will support the new album after an opening set from Portland-based experimental soul artist sqip.
