Lil' America, a new food cart pod exclusively featuring businesses owned by BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ chefs, is at last ready to celebrate its grand opening, and guests can expect to be spoiled for choice: The pod hosts FryBaby (Korean fried chicken), Hawker Station (Hainanese chicken rice and Cantonese dishes), Los Plebes (tacos), Speed-O Cappuccino (a self-described "queer as fuck" coffee cart), Maukulit (Filipino-American fast food), and Bake on the Run (Guyanese). As if that's not enough, the seafood boil specialist The Drip’N Crab will also join the pod this weekend. The grand opening festivities include music, food and drink specials, giant bubbles from PDX Bubble Unicorn (12-2 pm), tunes from DJ K Marie (2-5 m), and a drag show (3 pm).
