Annie Bloom's welcomes Portland writers Mary Fifield and Kristin Thiel, editors of Fire & Water: Stories from the Anthropocene, for a group livestream reading and discussion. The co-editors will be joined by fellow contributors Tara M. Williams, Jan Underwood, Vivian Faith Prescott, Etan Nechin, Jessica Meeker, Jack Kirne, Stefan Kiesbye, JoeAnn Hart, and Tomas Baiza. Omar El Akkad, who blurbed the book, will speak about what drew him to Fire & Water and why fiction is a great way to think and talk about the climate crisis.
