Beloved musician Lonnie Holley, sometimes called "the cosmic Stevie Wonder," is known for genre-defying music that ranges from soul to jazz to rock to gospel. For the first night of his two-night stint, Holley will be backed by pedal steel guitarist Barry Walker and later by Ethiopian jazz group The Tezeta Band. On the second, he will be backed by percussionist Papi Fimbres, rock 'n' rollers Peter Buck & Scott McCaughey, and art-punk aficionado LOX. Expect surprises on both nights—this presentation is part one of the After The End Of The World Festival, which features Mississippi Records' favorite music acts co-presented with films and projections on the big screen.
