The following description comes from the event organizer.

For the month of May, Amy Daileda's vibrant acrylic plant paintings will be at Flour Market, which is mere blocks from where her subjects grow. Enjoy an in-depth view into the sublime beauty of magnified flowers. Connect to nature through the botanical details of a specific spot on planet earth.

Meet the artist at the reception Friday, May 6, 5-8pm. Show runs May 4-29, 2022.

This show is part of the Taking. Up. Space. Initiative. T.U.S. is a grassroots female focused community global art exhibition empowering female artists to take up more space and exhibit their art in the month of May. There are over 80 world wide exhibits this year, and Micro Flora is one of them. Learn more about it through the hashtag on Instagram #takingupspace2022.

Amy Daileda explores the beauty and infinity found in the tiny details of nature through her vibrant paintings, wearable art and macro photography. She works out of her Portland, Oregon home studio that overlooks her organic garden which is a constant source of inspiration for her art. Find out more at www.vivid-element.com
