The following description comes from the event organizer.

Please join us every Tuesday, starting July 27th, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, for a weekly Bluegrass Jam, hosted by Rich Landar and Ray Man!

(Facemasks and proof of vaxx are required inside the bar)

This will be a traditional style Bluegrass circle, where people can join in as much as they’d like or just come to listen!

Standard Bluegrass instruments like, guitar, mandolin, dobro, fiddle, and banjo are welcome, but if you’d like to join in on other stringed or folk instruments please contact Rich, either prior to the jam or on jam night at Tomorrow’s Verse.
While everyone will be welcome to play breaks if they want, beginners are also invited, even if they want to just quietly strum along for practice, that goes for you ukulele players too.

Ray Mann will be there on acoustic bass each week. If any bass players want a turn at playing please speak to Ray at the jam and he will let you have a shift. Again, please get in touch with any questions.

A quick note about “Bluegrass”. While many of the tunes will likely be traditional bluegrass songs, we are happy to play any material that is well known and/or easy to explain and play. Non bluegrass tunes that have worked well at past jams include, folk songs (Prine, Dylan), well known classic rock songs, country standards and Grateful Dead related music.
Here’s a link to some basic bluegrass jam etiquette and what to expect.
