Catch buzzy painter Pace Taylor's solo exhibition before it closes on July 10. In Breathe when you need to, Taylor develops a dialogue with the surrealist gender-nonconforming artist Claude Cahun, exploring the mask as an identity-driven self-preservation tool. In Taylor's warm-hued works, domestic spaces become sites for unmasking, and the artist thinks about authenticity, confinement, and the self-portrait in a thoughtful, expansive way.
