Honoring the life of community leader Linda Jaramillo, this afternoon of storytelling, music, and poetry will feature Jaramillo herself as she shares past experiences of racism, empowerment, and advocacy informed by her Latina identity. Actor Emma Fonseca will perform "poetic interludes," and musicians Gerardo Calderon and Joaquin Lopez will share some classic Latin tunes based on Jaramillo's story.
