Leslie Uyeda's poetic chamber opera tells the story of Solana, who falls in love with a woman from her past in a state that oppresses fluid expressions of gender and sexuality. With libretto by Rachel Rose, the production features a quintet of violin, cello, flute, clarinet, and piano.
