The following description comes from the event organizer.

Everybody’s been in a band with a boyfriend or girlfriend.  But sometimes it gets serious. And sometimes it gets REAL serious. These musical couples have not only pledged a life together, but they are all gifted music makers who have integrated their talents to amount to greater than the sum of their parts.  These are Portland’s musical Power Couples!

Marv & Rindy Ross – Already married when they hit the big time with Oregon’s first platinum-selling record as Quarterflash, Marv & Rindy have a long history of doing great musical projects together.

LaRhonda & Mark Steele – Jazz/gospel keyboardist Mark Steele has played with some first-rate talent, including Michael Sambello and the legendary Joe Pass, while LaRhonda is known as Portland’s First Lady of the Blues.

Kate Power and Steve Einhorn – This esteemed folk duo encompasses everything that’s right with the Portland music scene. They are collaborators, community organizers and quality folk.

Colin Hogan and Brian Link are the next generation Portland power couple.  They perform their original music with the group The Colin Trio, and are also driving forces in such bands as Beardz II Men and the Fleetwood Mac tribute band Taken by the Sky.

Come see and hear some of the best music Portland has to offer, served with a side of fidelity.
