The following description comes from the event organizer.

Our barista Bleu will be hosting a cute, intimate, cozy poetry night to celebrate pride month! They will be reading her own work from her self produced Zine “I wore lipstick, I know how a body could feel” as well as sharing poems from special collections of queer authors! Bleu invites you to come read your poetry exploring gender/queer identity, or your favorite poetry from other queer authors. Share with us through poetry what being queer means to you.

The cafe and bar will be open for a glass of white wine or a warm chai, as well as everything else on our menu. Best of all, the event is free!

Bleu also requests that you show up in your best party dress, with your face covered in glitter, or whatever else represents your personal style best!

Sign up sheet at the door!

(Limit 3 poems)
