Summer of Sparkling - PDX Jazz is excited to announce a new collaboration with Argyle Wines to bring live music to downtown Dundee and Willamette Valley wine region! 

Join us for an evening of wine, picnic flare appetizers and music!

Doors 6pm with Show at 7pm - 8.30pm 

To honor 34 years of Argyle sparkling wine, and the return of visitors from around the country to the Willamette Valley, from June through August of this year, we’ll be celebrating a Summer of Sparkling together with Argyle. Featuring an array of unforgettable events, Summer of Sparkling will include special tastings, sparkling wine and food pairings and educational seminars, as well as sparkling wine-focused partnerships.

LowDown Brass Band is a uniquely strong representation of Chicago Music culture. This talented all horn band leans heavily on dancehall and street beat rhythm, with the energy of conscious hip hop, jazz, reggae, and soul.
LowDown likes to maintain a constant performing and touring schedule throughout the globe.

Following an ambitious project titled LowDown Sounds, that included a critically acclaimed cameo by Roy Ayers on the track Everybody Loves The Sunshine, LowDown Brass Band toured their 2018 hip hop release titled LowDown Breaks featuring MC Billa Camp. This new record stepped deeper into refining their unique sound, combining hip hop breaks with live soul samples and deep cut grooves.

This post-Covid period sees LowDown Brass Band back and ready to head out on the road having just released 10 LowDown fresh new Mini Reels available on BANDCAMP

*PDX Jazz's Education Programs' JAZZ IN THE SCHOOLS: a limited selection* of art will be on display at the Argyle Tasting Room through July. Voting will be open until July 31st, so be sure to come down and vote for your favorite piece!
Selection based on top voted pieces from the recent Portland Art Museum exhibit.
 
TICKET INFORMATION: Ticket price of $75 per person includes an appetizer box, two glasses of Argyle wine and intimate concert seating.
